Sit and watch

This life go by

Playing like a film

Leaving you ready to cry

Her story is simple

Yet so incomplete

The wrong place, the wrong time

Took her hearts last precious beat

No, you didn’t know her

No, you didn’t care

Do you see how leaving someone in the darkness

Can leave the world unaware

Do you see that darkness

Is where no one wants to be?

Do you see how it consumes?

Leaving nothing left to see

You could have known

But no one tries

No one cares enough

To see the pain in ones eyes

So look

And listen, just say no more

Watch her life play

Because she is gone forevermore

But Promise

That you will understand what happened here today

Please understand

It takes only one to wipe a tear away

They will sing her song

But it is yet to be sung

Until the world decides

To let them stop dying so young
